Theses are two different things:
- The protected range registers are registers set by the boot
fimrware(here the Lenovo BIOS). In the case of the X200T a PR
register protects what seem to be the BIOS boot block.
- The flash descriptor bits are set, in the flash descriptor. What the
boot fimrware doesn't affect such bits.
