Yes, it does.
Maybe someone could try to implement some logic to do the same but
filter out the cd/DVD drive.
I guess that most common encrypted partitions configurations are on the
internal HDD/SSD or on external USB disks/sticks.
However volume management such as LVM should also be taken into account.
