Follow-up Comment #5, bug #26424 (project librefm):

As I've already mentioned we are going to modify things to have an <object>
based fallback for old browser, however the javascript browser is still
preferable for any browser that supports it since it offers full support for
the streaming mechanism (i.e. it can play continuously forever, whereas the
fallback will be constricted to a pre-generated playlist), it supports now
playing and it supports scrobbling and in the near future it will support
"love/ban" tracks.
