Hi Everyone: Just a reminder about two events in the
Kitchener-Waterloo area:

*What*: KW VoIP meeting
*When*: Thursday, 28 January 2016 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
*Where*: Egg Roll King Restaurant
*Location*: 85 Courtland Avenue East, Kitchener, Ontario
*Map*: http://osm.org/go/ZXnwS2JA--?m=&way=195517589
*Contact*: Bob Jonkman <address@hidden>

For people interested in Voice over Internet Protocol, commercial VoIP
services, Internet Telephony, phones, Asterisk and other
software-based PBXes, and any other voice/video communication such as
XMPP, WebRTC, et al. Since it's the first meeting we'll introduce
ourselves, and see where we want this to go -- informal discussion,
moderated discussion on specific topics, formal presentations,
workshops, global domination, &c.

Of more general interest:

*What*: Linux Conference
*When*: Saturday, 30 January 2016 from 9:00am to 4:30pm
*Where*: Conestoga College, Doon Campus, room 1E05
*Location*: 299 Doon Valley Drive, Kitchener, Ontario
*Map*: http://osm.org/go/ZXnnGcOx-?m=&way=141386322
*Web*: http://kwlug.org/node/1015
*Fancy Poster*: https://www.flickr.com/photos/laurelrusswurm/24453100375/
*Contact*: Colin J. Mills <address@hidden>

Cost: $5.00 at the door, includes pizza lunch and coffee.

I've been missing the Linux Fest that was put on several years ago;
this should sate my craving.

See you there!

- --Bob.
