Hi everyone: I may have waxed enthusiastic over the KW Linuxfest,
scheduled to take place at Conestoga College in January 2018.
Unfortunately, due to cascading aftershocks from the Ontario college
staff and faculty strike, the KW Linuxfest has to be postponed.

It will now take place on Saturday, 18 May 2018.

The Call-For-Presentations will be re-opened, so if you didn't get
your presentation proposal in last time, you have another chance! If
you've already made a presentation submission then you'll soon hear
from Colin Mills (founder and primary organizer for KW Linuxfest) who
will ask if you want to keep your submission, revise it, or retract it.

We're also looking for a new venue -- Conestoga College is no longer
available.  If you work at one of the many tech companies in
Kitchener-Waterloo that uses or contributes to GNU/Linux and Free
Software, and your company would like to host, please let the
organizers know at address@hidden
