Speaking of partitions, has anyone had any experience running a linux partition on a mac? It might be a work around for us.Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®

virtual machine is not always a great solution for graphics programs. I've tried that. I actually have to keep a windows partition just for photoshop cs5 and zbrush. Because of my work and my clients, I don't have a choice. I've tried these in in virtual machines, with wine, and the best most stable solution is still a separate partition.

Have you considered using a virtual machine that runs on a free distro
and set it up so it runs mac and your pixen? It's certainly a better
solution than keeping a physical machine just for one application.
Hopefully, in time you will be able to make the transition and you
just stop using the virtual machine , having the rest of your setup
ready at hand.
