We seem to be going in circles at this point, and you've heard my thoughts, so I'll wait to see what you come up with. :) I think that if you come up with a concise, attractive way to introduce the definition of free software, then we would really like to host that on fsf.org or gnu.org, and point people toward it, and I hope you will give us the opportunity to do that.
Awesome :) I'll take that as an invitation to do so - and I'm glad to do it! Currently I'm working on the label. When we have a label we have the foundation for the look of the campaign page. When we also have the text for the landing campaign page we can work on designing it.
The text is important! My first idea would be to just mention the four freedoms with a short introduction. Additionally we might have practical examples of the freedoms displayed upon hovering over them, or something like that.
... but this is just my first brainstorm! maybe we should foster a playful slogan that sticks? maybe there already is something like that?anyway - I'm busy with the label for now, maybe other text ideas pop up here before I'm finished.
(I suspect the label will take some time) -robert
