The best thing would be to promote things like the FreedomBox. It does
not seem feasible that any newcomer to a Google-dominated market would
be able to cover the costs related to hosting emails, code and other
stuff for millions of people, and even if that is possible, I would
argue that it's still better if people decentralized their data.
