Please read this:
[sorry for dual post Quiliro]

LibrePlanet is an event organized by FSF. libreplanet.net is owned by
the FSF. The code of conduct at libreplanet.org is defined by the FSF.
[URI] : /Red/, /understood/ -> my way, ever, is Free as Freedom
On /your/ post: I think even inside the FSF twelve employees[1] circle
there are xxxions, contradictions and disagrees on one point or over, we
have pleasant words on the net about /Free Software guru/ R. M.
Stallman, himself laughing about that on a portrait with an old-time
large hard disk plate. But this hopefully has nothing to do with a
religious sect :)
On that post top, you would see in headers the word Subject, with for
[topic] a second interesting word following [libreplanet-, meaning we
can xxx] /about/ Free Sowtware, but more xxx] /on/.
I will never agree any constraint on what me nor anyone would do with
our computers, including having proprietary software/os on her computer,
even in my family:
I demonstrate each time I go my aunt house how clumsy, insecure,
resources and money greedy is her programs/OS, how cool are the several
well organized menus and kinds of WM... I change each visit in case one
would bluff her enough, and how powerful are my graphical apps compared
to her ones (maybe the fact I use often a terminal seems to her
GNU/Linux is reserved to professionals, but I ensured her it is not
necessary but simpler for me on some tasks, and more secure for admin
tasks she will likely never had to do, explaining her MS-W$ is numerous
times complex on that).
I installed them Gimp and Firefox, then Thunderbird (and she continue to
use her Internet Vendor bloody web interface which change every six
month), but never done more because she /don't ask me/.
I just wait for a major crash :)
On the other hand, I'm really impaired in using exclusively Free
Software[2] by what impairs Free Software itself, which is a "Free
Software impeachment by design":
* unpublished hardware specs (including suddenly hardware vendor
policy changes on publishing, and unpublished hardware chips changes),
* software patents (including abusive software patents (clue any
skilled in the art has) such as Four Colors separation, un-logical
software patents states policies on what I call /natural things/ such as
mathematics, software copies of mechanical/chemical process, and living
thins)
* biased concurrency
* and fact /our own data/ is made prisoner (unpublished formats, ...),
despite of recommendations and requirements (professional)
I'm afraid the xxx-offending-word could be censored on that thread, so
please replace....
Regards,
T.Harding.
[1] I just see the ironic now passing orthogaffic corrector, hoping they
successfully recruited the 2 other persons they searched for :)
[2] Currently:
(a) kernel blob/wlan nic (iwl4965 : thanks Mr Intel)
(b) SANE *proprietary module* (Epson V600 photo scanner)
(c) proprietary Flash Plugin I can't get rid because of unpublished
new swf format... maybe I will lauch one day or other my own
Affero-GPL'ed dating site :P
