FireFox OS looks like a Free Software, and not Software-as-a-Service.
It has a local browser, and can be used on an intra-net to browse to
local HTTP server, without the Internet.
However I believe it's lack of native apps (NDK, for C/C++ developers)
is a serious limitation, which will prevent the platform from gaining
momentum.
