That link says it is expired. Anyway, I searched for "god" and
"freedom". I see no trademarks on those words. Nor can they be
trademarked. They can only be used in specific terms like "Freedom
Juice" and "Freedom Studios" and "Freedom Tower".

The simple fact that there are 4980 results for "freedom" show that
nobody controls the simple word "freedom".

Regardless, if you find bad trademark examples, that's no different from
other laws being used badly. I'm sure some trademarks get through that
should have been rejected and might be judged invalid if taken to  court.
