While Twitter doesn't show everyone everything that *should* be
displayed in their timeline, I don't think it's a deliberate act of
censorship. Instead, they're displaying only those items that are
likely to earn them more revenue, ie. things that advertisers are
willing to pay for, things that make people click links and increase
their social graph (and so, divulge more information about their
demographics to Twitter and its advertisers). It's not malicious, it's
just greedy.
