Maybe webview with webkit is option for developers but i don't know how good is it. https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=HTML5-Golang-Desktop-Apps i think forwarding dev's to use different libs than electron is good idea while waiting google to fix licensing issues (if they will do that)
