Well, I already mentioned one service that might used as a substitute for a
free youtube.com client — invidio.us, so the links will be:

But actually I would advice _against_ providing them instead of original
youtube.com ones.
Not only because that’s a SaaS(S) [1] with all negative implications, like a
chance of being shut down at any moment in future. But also because it
provides practical inconvenience for the free software users right now: if your
system is configured to opens youtube.com links in a player of your choice, it
probably does not do the same for any of those SaaS client. Moreover, I don’t
think it is possible at all to make, say, NewPipe or SkyTube (free youtube.com
clients for *droid-like OS) to handle invidio.us links without patching and
recompiling them.
