I like this, but I'm not comfortable recommending Ubuntu, given things like Mir and Unity that are theoretically OSS, but aren't really (e.g. Unity doesn't run anywhere but on Ubuntu, and Mir IMHO is just a symptom of Not Invented Here Syndrome).
