We need speakers for June-onwards.
I was wondering if someone could summarize the Free Software movement
and FSF's initiatives, and how to get involved globally and locally via
this group.
Alternately, maybe someone could setup a Bug Squashing Party/Hackathon
for a strategic GPL project for that night, with developers from that
project locally to help get newbies initiated into project and
submitting fixes? The LibreOffice hackathon we had a few years ago was
successful, it'd be nice to have something like this locally on a
recurring basis.
Or some other related topic useful for citizen/journalist/activists who
want to learn to use technology better.
June is tentatively hosted at WeWork at South Lake Union.
If you can help, or help find someone else who can, for June or onward,
please let me know. Thanks!
