[Libunwind-devel] autoconf generated ./configure failing

I'm not super familiar with the automake toolchain (I usually use
scons for c++), so maybe someone could point out what I'm doing wrong?

I run:
autoconf

then

./configure

and I get:

./configure: 529: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")"

This is from the latest I pulled with git.

Also, is this project alive? I subscribed to the mailing list, but I
haven't seen any traffic in a while...
