I concluded as much; I am not going to try to fix this.

What we'll do on our side, outside libunwind, is that if the application didn't 
have a vdso, we'll volunteer symbol names for vsyscall regions we know about. 
It's enough for us to know some spread of hits all meant gettimeofday(), say, 
even if we are not sure where it was called from. Unfortunately these get 
called often enough that it's nice to get a name for the hits.
