At AdaCore, we use 0.98.5 with GDB, and it is working better for us
than the system one.

I tried building 1.0, or maybe a snapshot close to that, but it
did not build. I sent a set of patches that fix most of the problems,
but there is still one that I don't know how to fix, and I ran
out of time. You should look at the archives, my email should be
there somewhere.

Beyond that, I don't know.
