http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2776The attached minimal example turns off the line spanner for the text crescendo, but at linebreaks still gives a warning that the left point of the line spanner is after the right point.
If I turn off the line spanner (i.e. set style=#none), then no line spanner should be generated at all, and thus this warning should not be triggered, either.
