Thanks also to the two people who replied off-list about
\pointAndClickOff; I had missed that, but this still felt like it
should be a run-time (or command-line switch); -dno-point-and-click is
perfect.

I am a bit out of date, at 2.12.3; I am really excited for the new
stable release, as I hope Ubuntu will pick it up in its standard distro.

That doesn’t appear to work with 2.12, but I will keep that in mind in
the new release if metadata doesn’t work automagically.
