I'd still be interested to know in rough outline how Denemo lets you add single notes in a GUI and have the feedback from lilypond so quickly.
Frescobaldi is a different matter as it compiles the whole score and then just displays the generated PDF.
And I wonder what the OP wants to achieve?

It generates LilyPond code (which you can also export if I'm not mistaken).
