Hello Ritchey.
Sorry for the belated answer. I have been busy for a while.
A lot of efforts have been done by my colleague to improve the Readme of the Flexisip project, especially for build.
You can take a look now if you want. To not bother with the dependencies, you can also use our Flexisip docker images available here.

git clone https://gitlab.linphone.org/BC/public/flexisip --recursive
cmake . -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/opt/belledonne-communications -DSYSCONF_INSTALL_DIR=/etc
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-3.16/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:146 (message):
Could NOT find SofiaSipUa (missing: SOFIASIPUA_INCLUDE_DIRS
SOFIASIPUA_LIBRARIES) (Required is at least version "1.13.11")
Call Stack (most recent call first):
/usr/share/cmake-3.16/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:393 (_FPHSA_FAILURE_MESSAGE)
cmake/FindSofiaSipUa.cmake:74 (find_package_handle_standard_args)
CMakeLists.txt:85 (find_package)
Seems prepare.py did not catch this.
