As I stated I cleared up the compile problem by removing package gtkdoc. I get your prepackaged doc and have no idea why the build from scratch does not work. Anyhow I have 2 SuSE systems with linphone 0.8.0 SuSE 7.2 and 8.0 Both have alsa enabled and working in the desktop. Neither linphone has sound! advice? Thanks. -Walt
