All,

        Im using linphone on PDAs.
There is lot of packet drops on the PDA side.
Voice is cluttered even with PCM format. Initially i thought since the
PDA has 200Mhx CPU its not properly scheduling resulting in loss of
packets. But I see that it can record and playback audio using speex
provided by a local application And that confirms that there is no issue
with scheduling.

With linphonec i also see the warning message
MSTimer: 6 ticks, etc..........

Im using PCMU for vocie transfer.

I wrote a small udp server and client for this, client sent data
continously reading from /dev/dsp with PCM and server at PDA recvd data
and played back on /dev/dsp.
The number of packet sent and received varies from 4% to 5% and voice is
cluttered.

What else could be the problem here ? What should i do make it playback in
form. ?

Please suggest.

Linphone=0.12.0, libosip=0.9.7,PDA=INTEL STRNIOG ARM WITH 200mhx cpu and
usable memory left is 5MB, and volatile 15MB.
RAM 32MB.

-ASK
