Simon,

thanks a lot for your so quick answer!!!!

Hi,
1.
Someone have any idea on how to "pipe" commands on the linphonec "shell"
from php??
I explain better: i need to have linphonec running and making and
answering call via a web interface (in local).
I'm not an expert on shell piping and php... I'm sorry.
Otherwise there are options to lauch linphonec in non-interactive mode: auto-answer or call immediately a sip uri given on the command line.
Then you can send a TERM signal to shutdown the calls.
Try linphonec --help for more details.
Do you think i can leave linphonec in "auto-answer-mode" (but it's not a good idea: i could choose to not answer to the call...) and than kill it when i have to do a call.
Then i can run linphonec again. Right?

Anyone on the list has some other idea?

2.
How configure linphonec to use an alternate audio device for ringing?
In the config file (~/.linphonec) you things like this:
playback_dev_id=2
ringer_dev_id=2
capture_dev_id=2

The number is the index of the card, first /dev/dsp (oss) cards, then alsa driven cards.
Ok, i discovered it by myself just some minute after sending my mail....

Simon (or someone else of the list): can you give me some advice on how to modify the code of linphonec to do something else instead of playing a wav file when a call arrive? I explain better: i need to use a General Purpose I/O of a board i have to ring a buzzer and to flashing a some led. I have simply to set to 1 a bit on a memory location....

Some commands within linphonec are being developed to setup this without the pain of editing a config file.
What commands??

Bye,

Mattia
