To run text mode…

Type “linphonec” command on shell…

Then u need to use linphonec command to operate it…

Command are… (for version 1.2)

 

§         Call

o        'call <sip-url>' or 'c <sip-url>' : initiate a call to the specified destination.

§         Answer

o        'answer' or ‘a’: answer to (accept) an incoming call.

§         Terminate

o        'terminate' or ’t’: used to terminate current calls and to cancel any request like INVITE ,REGISTER, etc.

§         Proxy

o        Used to perform proxy related operations.

o        'proxy list’: list all proxy setups.

o        'proxy add’: add a new proxy setup.

o        'proxy remove <index>‘: remove proxy setup with number index.

o        'proxy use <index>‘: use proxy with number index as default proxy.

o        'proxy unuse’: don't use a default proxy.

§         Call-logs

o        'call-logs’: shows history of calls.

§         IPv6

o        'ipv6 status': show ipv6 usage status.

o        ‘ipv6 enable': enable the use of the ipv6 network.

o        'ipv6 disable': do not use ipv6 network.

§         Help

o        'help <command>' :for details for command.

§         Quit

o        'quit' or ‘q’: to turn off application.

 

First of all set fields of configuration file.

hi  i m successful in installing linphone in console mode.

but i don't know how to start and operate.
means how to create a user in linphone in console mode and communicating.

plz help me!
