[Linphone-users] cross compiling problem and alsa.lo problem

From: venkatram mustoor
Subject: [Linphone-users] cross compiling problem and alsa.lo problem
Date: Sat, 13 Jan 2007 12:34:48 +0530

Sir,

I have one doubt:
should we cross compile all the supporting sourrce packages of
Linphone individually
or else, i have to cross compile only the linphone after successfully
installing it.

One more doubt:

I am still getting "alsa.lo" error when i try to install the Linphone source.

When i un-install "alsalib-1.0.13 and "alsaplayr-0.99.76", and try to
install the Linphone, i get the error as:

error:[mediastream] Error1

otherwise when i try to install by haveing above both installed i will get
error: [alsa.lo] Error.

please help me in this, because i can see some of them have
successfully installed the source and facing problems with webcam and
other such things.

Regards,
Mustoor.Venkatram.

Hi,

The problem is with that driver or camera that isn't able to provide the CIF
or QCIF standart resolution.
We are working on this problem to find a workaround in linphone.

Hi All

I am searching for a sip UA that runs on ipv6

lately i have installed suse 10.2 which has a linphone 1.3.0 and in the
settings there's an option for ipv6.

i tried to run int first on ipv4 the registration failed and i faced the
same problem with ipv6.

Can anyone help with this version or recommend a well trusted version that
runs on ipv6?

Regards

Ali

This camera is working only in QVGA mode: I'm using it with mediastreamer2
and have fixed the CVS 2 days ago to make it work :)

I don't think linphone can currently handle the workaround that was found
for mediastreamer: a resizer must be pluggued after the capture filter and
I don't think there is one currently? Simon? Can you comment on this?
