Hi,

MP4V-ES is the video mpeg4 bitstream
mp4 is a file format which usually contain a track of MP4V-ES and a track of 
another codec (ex: AMR).
If linphone only displays the first half of the pcitures, it's probably 
because the MP4V-ES frames it received are truncated. The source sending 
MP4V-ES is probably sending too large packets for the MTU (maximum transmit 
unit) of the network (usually around 1400 bytes).
