Subject: [Linphone-users] ipkg-build problem in cross compiling Linphone-1.0.1 for Powerpc-405
Date: Mon, 5 Mar 2007 14:07:57 +0530

Hi All,

I have cross compiled Linphone-1.0.1 for powerpc-405 processor, in
last step in README.arm they have suggested as below:

"run ipkg-build -o root -g root powerpc".

can anyone tell me what exactly this means?.

How to proceed further.

Please reply ASAP.

Regards & Thanks,
Mustoor.Venkatram.

Hello,

I've just come back from 3 weeks holidays this week, that's why I could
answer to any message for this time.
I'll try to answer most people from now and during the next week.
Sorry for that.
You can enjoy testing the unstable 1.0.0beta454 linphone source from
http://simon.morlat.free.fr/download/unstable/source
You need to download the osip and linphone tarball + gtk>=2.4 to get
something pretty and usable.

Simon

I am trying to deug LinPhone using DDD on Fedora Core
2. and The debugger never enters the Linphone
Directory, it STEPS into the GTK widget etc...but
never into the actual SIP area where I would think it
generates Invite and other SIP msgs....I want to
follow the code all the way to the REGISTER
msg....however, it skips all the SIP stuff...could
there be any Libraries linkages missing....?

 How can I fix this.

Hello,

I've uploaded yesterday evening a new tarball of the 1.0.0branch.
It bring the following enhancements:
* authentication for REGISTER and INVITE works (at least with ser !)
* presence notifications work better.
* console interface improved.
Please send me logs if you notice bad behaviours !
Thanks a lot.

I think there's a problem with your installation. Use ./configure
--disable-shared if you have doubts about the shared libraries that are
installed on your system.

Hi Simon,

today I have access to another toublemaker machine for Linphone Windows. It
shows the behaviour we could eliminate by version 0.2.0 on my machine at home.
Not here. See the traces

Test: Installed Linphone Windows 0.2.1 on Toshiba Notebook
--------------------------------------------------------------------
- configured Asterisk server outside NATted LAN
- everything worked fine until I selected STUN server. Now (as occured with
previous versions) Linphone crashes
- problem lasts until I delete config file and start from beginning

Test Case 1: configured STUN server and tried to open settings:
