I am hoping to figure out how to operate it successfully without needing DNS since I am trying to call peer to peer between units under test. I unfortunately do not understand getaddrinfo() well enough to get why this works fine with IPv4 but chokes on IPv6.Hi Andrew 2009/7/22 Andrew Brown <address@hidden>:The line I really want to understand is the "getaddrinfo failure". Do I need DNS to do something in order for Linphone to work over IPv6? It is working fine when I use IPv4 without DNS and I am using all IP numeric literals, not names. It helps if you have a correctly set up DNS with the necessary AAAA and PTR records.
