[Linphone-users] [annoucement] new version of msx264 ( linphone's x264 plugin )

Hello,

I've just commited to svn/git trees some important changes in
mediastreamer2/plugins/msx264.
This is to build and run with last versions of the x264 project (since
their disruptive change that occured in september 2009).
Indeed x264 has finally integrated support for H264 multi-slicing, which
is very important for video over IP. The consequence is that the
linphone.org 's forked version of x264 is no more needed. This is a very
good news.
Also x264 changed some importants behaviours of its api, so some changes
were also required inside the plugin.
I uploaded msx264-1.3.0 in the download page:

It works with linphone-3.2.1 .
