Hi Simon,

Thanks for the reply.

My setup includes 
* Fedora 12 based machines(or Virtual Machines)
* kernel 2.6.31.x
* oRTP library 0.16.1

I am able to remove the packet drop, by the library, by disabling the 
Adaptive Jitter compensation i.e. setting it to FALSE.

I am yet to test whether this could affect the performance of the application
or not.

Hi,

If you get late packets, that means that either the receiver or the
sender goes too fast or too slow. On which OS/platform are you seeing
this behaviour ?
