I am trying to use GoogleVoice as a VoIP caller. I have it working
(with other middlemen) with Linphone on my windows PC talking to a mobile phone
(VoIP to PSTN calling). All I need for it to work on my WP7 for a
mobile to mobile (VoIP to PSTN calling) is an app that talks to
my setup of “antisip server –>sip # --->GV# (PSTN) --->
recipient”. I have a google voice app, but this role is Linphone’s (talks
to antisip rather than just to GVweb, which is only free PSTN)! Thanks for
the PC desktop app btw. It allowed me to test this setup, but using it on
my computer is way limited. I wonder if there is a way to register a sip#
(or is it a sip identity?) of another device (ie my mobile
phone) through the desktop app, as a workaround; since I know my phone’s
external IP addy – because I am sick of waiting for a generic (non-proprietary)
SIP app for WP7, there are 0.
