Hello list.
I tried to enable the h264 plugin on Debian unstable.
The plugin compiled fine after I figured out that I need to use
"--prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu".
The problem is that with this setup it doesn't seem to encode the video
properly. I have asterisk 10.6 as registrar and when I call the
asterisk echo application, I get:
x264 [warning]: lookaheadless mb-tree requires intra refresh or infinite keyint
x264 [warning]: VBV bitrate (1375) > level limit (768)
from the encoder and decoder gives me a lot of
[h264 @ 0x7fa9ec037420] non-existing PPS 0 referenced
[h264 @ 0x7fa9ec037420] decode_slice_header error
and some
[h264 @ 0x7fa9ec037420] no frame!
too.
If I disable h264 and use h263, calling the echo program works.
If I call from the android version of linphone to this Debian unstable I can
see video on the Debian side, but not on the android side.
Does Debian unstable have "wrong" version of some library?
x264 is 2:0.123.2189+git35cf912-1
ffmpeg is 6:0.8.3-4
