Our Linphone PPA does not always provide backports. (They are difficult.) For 3.6.1 on 'raring' I already had to package versions of 'srtp' and 'zrtpcpp' which are unavailable on the most up-to-date Ubuntu systems.
Backports - is the whole point of Ubuntu PPAs.
Without backports this PPA is useless.
