Hi,
This is now fixed on the git repository of Linphone.
However, you can add a SIP account with the add button in Settings/Manage Sip Account section.

lol... a lot of VOIP user names use digits.

I would suggest trying a different account to verify if this is the case.

In any case, you can probably avoid the issue by editing the
configuration file manually (~/.linphonerc).
