[Linphone-users] Simple question from beginner

Hi,

I want to use Linphone for direct IP to IP calls in a mesh net that typically 
is close, not connected to the internet. See http://www.broadband-hamnet.org/

How can I tell a browser (Firefox, Chrome) to open Linphone and dial certain IP?
I tried     sip://server -paramerters
to no avail.

Any indication on how to do this  would be most appreciated.
