thank you very much. As far as I can see you also changed the Icon path line in linphone.desktop.in to Icon=linphone accordingly.

I modified our building system to install the icon file in
<prefix>/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/linphone.png. It will be available in a
minor release of Linphone which is scheduled for this week.
