Hi Rory,

Are you compiling linphone source code with target api 23 which is Android 6.x marshmallow ?
Go to application info of your app in settings, open permissions page and try to enable all of the permissions and run your app? success? If its successful just follow http://developer.android.com/training/permissions/requesting.html to ask for the permission on run time.

Regards,

Hi all

Using the latest github, there is no icon of linphone active in the top bar.
I saw the following in logcat:
W/WindowManager( 2446): Access to extended visibility flags denied: Requires com.sonymobile.permission.SYSTEM_UI_VISIBILITY_EXTENSIONS permission.

I tried to add

<uses-permission android:name="com.sonymobile.permission.SYSTEM_UI_VISIBILITY_EXTENSIONS" />

to the AndroidManifest.xml

but then I get this message on install

W/PackageManager( 2446): Not granting permission com.sonymobile.permission.SYSTEM_UI_VISIBILITY_EXTENSIONS to package org.linphone (protectionLevel=18 flags=0x18be46)

Anyone any idea's?
