Hi,

there is no plan to implement OTR, but for linphone to linphone chat, you can activate LIME to encrypt your chat and file transfer using secrets previously generated using ZRTP: for it to work you must first make a voice call to the peer, then you can chat in a secure way.

I just downloaded the latest version of Linphone and configured my SIP
accounts. LOVE IT! For me, the only feature that's missing is
encrypted OTR text messaging. I realize that not all SIP providers
support text messaging but some do and I'm wondering if Linphone has
