Hello.

In seeking to install Linphone on this computer, running UbuntuMATE
16.04, I found the version of Linphone that is available in the
Software Centre repository, is 3.6.1-2.5 .

On the Linphone web site, is the web page at
http://www.linphone.org/desktop-4.0/
which has a circular (keeps going around in loops) link for Linux; the
link goes to
http://www.linphone.org/technical-corner/linphone/downloads
which has, as the link for downloads,
http://www.linphone.org/#downloads , which has a link for version 4,
which goes to
http://www.linphone.org/desktop-4.0/
which has a circular (keeps going around in loops) link for Linux; the
link goes to
http://www.linphone.org/technical-corner/linphone/downloads
 etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

So, I am wondering whether a version 4.x of Linphone exists for Linux;
especially, for Ubuntu Linux.

Thank you in anticipation.
