On this other pc and many others, linphone dies as soon as an mkv sound have

are the last messages printed in terminal when trying ring:

(yet these mkv files created by Linphone in
/tmp/.mount_Linphoxxxxxx/usr/share/sounds/linphone/rings can be played with
Parole or mpv on all these not so old pcs)

Is there anything I can do or developers can do to correct this behaviour ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Same problem with 4.2 final appimage.
