I think the bug only manifests with soci 4.0.1 while the version in
your gitlab is 4.0.0 (the 4.0.1 changelog mentioned "Fix 'big int'
detection (#783, #785)" for the sqlite3 backend which I suspect made
subtle changes to their type-conversion logic, but I haven't looked
deeper). That's all I can say.
