hello friends

i have already posted this query but i am asking it again as i am still
looking for the answer ,being a newcomer to this code and still in the
process of understanding the code

Question is :
i am porting the stack on trimedia platform . I have successfully
implemented the semaphores ,threading  and queues. The only trouble i am
facing is to implement  sys_arch_timeouts. Infact i am unable to figure out
its signifance and need . Any help in this regard would be extremely
appreciated
