Hello Leon
Hello all, given that I am unable to work on my previous target, I am about to set up a virtual machinerunning Linux to test some stuff. Can someone point out how I can test the current lwIP on a Linux 2.6.x kernel? Especially bringing the lwIP netif inside the kernel?I will assemble this into a small HOWTO for doc/ I have worked with tapif in the past, is this still the way to do it?
If you mean running the unix test, that is lwip stack as a userland process than the tapif is still the way to go. The module is tun.ko - (Universal TUN/TAP device driver 1.5) if you have a modular kernel.
