I agree! Oh wait, you mean me? Ahem. I'll do my best.
Unit tests are an excellent idea, and I'd welcome any attempt to get
them working. We perhaps need to give some consideration to how fine-
grained the tests should be, but as a start I guess doing it per-
protocol as suggested would be OK.
