LYNX-DEV Strange effect with the latest set of patches

I started fresh with lynx 2-6 to get around my previously reported
GridText problem.  I unzipped the original 2.6 zip.  I used the
.zip file of replacement modules.  I applied my local set of
changes for directory names, etc.  I did a build for Solarsi 2, slang,
with Sun's unbundled C compiler.

When I use lynx, the down arrow does the same thing as a space
key - I no longer get the function of moving down one link.

Is this an intentional change?
