Shouldn't have the `//'.

Yes, the RFC states that it should be

news:newsgroup or news:messageid
and that if one wants to put in a host it should be
nntp://site[:port]/newsgroup

However, when I try 

lynx nntp://genetics.upenn.edu/perl.porters-gw

I get an error but if I try

lynx news://genetics.upenn.edu/perl.porters-gw

I get the newsgroup.  Anyone know what is missing?  I'm still using
lynx 2.6FM from Jan 27- I'll update today.
