Shouldn't have the `//'.
Yes, the RFC states that it should be
news:newsgroup or news:messageid
and that if one wants to put in a host it should be
nntp://site[:port]/newsgroup
However, when I try
lynx nntp://genetics.upenn.edu/perl.porters-gw
I get an error but if I try
lynx news://genetics.upenn.edu/perl.porters-gw
I get the newsgroup. Anyone know what is missing? I'm still using
lynx 2.6FM from Jan 27- I'll update today.
