It is quite uncontridictory to be copyrighted, but yet under a lisence. The
GNU's GPL (normaly just GPL) specifies nothing spefic to Gnu's Not Unix
((Gnu's Not Unix)'s Not Unix) (well, you get it).

The GPL should be in a file named COPYING included with your distribution
(to not do so violates the GPL). If it is not, look at
http://www.fsf.org/copyleft/gpl.html, where the Truely Offical copy is.
